Your website should be an asset, not a subscription.

StromTek Inc. builds fast, code-owned websites for Canadian businesses — and the payment, booking and database systems behind them. Built by the person you will actually talk to.

If any of this sounds familiar

You pay every month for a site you cannot edit

The builder owns the platform, the theme and the export. Stop paying and it disappears. That is rent, not an asset.

Nobody finds you on Google

A slow site with no structure and no local signals will not rank, however good the business behind it is.

The business runs on a spreadsheet and a phone

Bookings, payments and customer records living in three places that do not talk to each other, held together by you.

Built and running

One built for a client in Alberta, one StromTek Inc. owns and operates — and the page you are reading.

Client Edmonton, Alberta

Scheelar Energy

Live

An NRCan-registered energy advisor serving Edmonton and the communities around it. EnerGuide evaluations, blower-door testing, and three separate rebate programmes — Canada Greener Homes, Edmonton HERA, CMHC MLI Select — each with its own criteria a homeowner has to be walked through.

  • Built from Toronto for a client in Alberta — remote delivery, start to finish
  • A regulated domain explained clearly to homeowners who find it confusing
  • Service-area business covering nine municipalities

RailTax Canada

Launching for the coming tax season

Canadian railway employees can deduct meals and lodging while away from their home terminal, but the claim depends on reconstructing every trip across a year — which is why most people underclaim or skip it. RailTax is a tax-prep platform for that trade. Its trip parser reads a member’s trip file, works out which trips are eligible, and exports a report ready for a TL2 claim.

  • Stripe payments, integrated end to end
  • A parser doing work that would otherwise be done by hand, line by line
  • Built, owned and operated in-house by StromTek Inc.

stromtek.ca

You are on it

The one you can check yourself. Ten pages in English and ten in French, every one of them static HTML built ahead of time and measured against WCAG AA. No change reaches this address until it passes the same audit a client build has to pass: internal links, heading structure, alt text, meta descriptions and both language switchers, all verified, or nothing ships.

  • Sub-second loads, no page builder, no plugin stack
  • French URLs that are genuinely French, and a switcher that stays put
  • Monitored, backed up nightly, with a written recovery runbook

See it before you buy it

The usual way round is to pay for a promise. StromTek Inc. does it the other way.

  1. We talk

Thirty minutes. What the business does, what is broken, what it needs to do. Budget and timeline included — honest answers save us both a week.

  2. I build it

A real, working version of your new site. Not a mockup, not a slide deck — the actual thing, in a browser.

  3. You see it live

A private link, yours to click through and share with whoever else needs to see it.

  4. You claim it

If it is right, it goes live on your domain. If it is not, you owe nothing and we shake hands.

I take on a small number of these at a time, so there is sometimes a wait.

Why not an agency

At an agency you meet the person who sells the work, and someone else builds it — often somewhere else entirely, often not the person you were shown.

Here, the person who takes your call writes the code, runs the servers and answers the email in two years when something needs changing. That is the whole pitch.

A short email is enough to start. I reply to every enquiry within one business day.
